I'm dreaming of an enclosed elevated deer stand this morning as our beautiful temps of yesterday has given way to a bitter north blast of 27 degrees and wind gusts to 35mph. I really don't think I will be spending much time today in my open tripod stands. For those that don't know, today starts Kansas rifle deer season.

We need that cold weather to start making ice for Ice Fishing season. The wife and I got our annual trip plan to go to Lake of the Woods.
