hunting sunglass for this fall

I grab whatever is in the truck, if nothing else whatever’s at the gas station. I cannot be trusted to not step on sit on or simply lose a pair of sunglasses. Our set aside here gets tall enough the tops want to poke you in the eye.

I have some rec spec recoils. They accidentally sent me two pairs which was cool until I lost one of them.
The frames will take re ranger edge lenses.Radian rsg 3s look like they may also.
I shoot with mid browns and hunt with light browns in low light and usually without glasses under normal conditions.

I’m a sunglasses addict I need to find a program…..
I use amber lens green mirror most days, Costa my old go to but default to Maui Jim these days… the amber green mirror also doubles on the water ( inshore) real well. Polarized a must ….I buy glass lenses rather than polycarbonate….polys won’t make it long for me… I’ll put em a front pocket throw them on the dash and scratch em up…glass resist my idiocy much better.
I like RayBan aviators but can’t keep a pair very long, Lost a pair just last week while dodging an African honey bee assault while mowing …frames too flimsy to stay on my cap while working always falling off.
Got some 2 different shooting glasses sets at some charity events with swappable lenses that I use for clays three different shades, yellow pinkish and gray…I like these for highlighting clays against the sky…would probably be good for bird shooting too…
On cloudy days I don’t wear shooting/sunglasses.
I had a GSP pup that kept me buying sunglasses once a week for 6 weeks…. 4 pairs of Costas one Maui Jim one Ray Bans…kinda slowed me on the 350 dollar variety so I’m kinda liking these box full of $3.00 safeties that somebody brought up…

Thats whats good about Shady Rays. They replace lost and broken ones. Sounds crazy but they have for me 2 times. Just the shipping.

I bought a few pairs of Pilla Legend shooting glasses on closeout.

They are 25 and 15 light transmission.

I also use Final Approach shooting glasses with HiDefSpex lenses.

I have to wear sunglasses all the time or else I get migraines. For hunting specifically, I wear orange/amber/bronze tinted polarized glasses (oakley's right now). My everyday sunglasses are blue tinted polarized Costa's. I've tried blue and "regular" dark tinted polarized glasses in the field and struggled noticing color differences until I went the orange-ish route!

My eyes hurt when Im outside, even when it’s cloudy. I have purchased the sunglasses off the spinning rack at scheels for the last 18 years. They are polarized and 25 bucks. Black. I do not have a problem distinguishing hens from roosters. I would if I didnt wear them, because my eyes would pretty much be closed.

Someone brought up eye pro for sticks/grass. I dont know how many times I would have had scratched eyeballs from various stuff out there. Be smart and wear something

I’ve been wearing RLVT the last couple of years. Had Costa’s, Ray Ban’s before. I have blue tint for fishing and their “hunting” lense for hunting.
