Be as quite as possible. These birds are very savy this time of year. Be prepared for long shots. You may even want to take a rifle!

@chaddsbritt: Man, you got that right! Saw more birds than I have ever seen in CO over NY's wknd...but bunched up together by the 100's with all those late-season PHD-educaded eyes & ears, it was heck gettin in shotgun range of one on sunny & windless/squeaky-snow Sun!

Ditto HHRooster. The other thing I noticed was the high number of hunters out for this time of year. You guys need to get a life! ;O)
