Hunted Saturday 10/22

Made my first pheasant hunt of the year on saturday. I only hunted public ground and it was great. We harvested 2 huns 2 quail and 2 roosters. All in all it was a great day. Now if I could only find a good chukar spot close to where I am hunting I could go for a grand slam.

They are California quail. I am not sure where any gambles live in Idaho.

That's what I thought, I had no Idea that Cali. Quail lived in Idaho.

That is awesome to have a mixed bag like that. Some day I have to hunt Idaho.

I went saturday as well and got nothing. I just went to swan falls and saw some quail but they were fast and got cover quickly. Great job on the big bag though. I am new to hunting and hope to get some good bags as well.
