Home Now For CO/KS Opener, But NOT On My Terms!

Partial Good News

My 29 yr old son with the "C"-word is rucuperating well from the surgery end of things. He even made sure that the doc put the chemo-port in his non-shooting shoulder "just in case", so maybe he & I and the dog can get out and kick a couple fields together in Jan be4 the season ends! :D

Now if I can just get the heartbreaking elderly-parent situation under control and not have to keep them separated under our care...MAYBE I can finally get out & chase a couple roosters for the first time this year or at least with Brandon be4 season's end!

Love hearing all of your stories, keeps my rooster-hopes alive - sure wish I could sneak away for one wee little day-run, but it's just not in the cards right now...Happy Trails out there to all & Happy Holidays - Lord knows we all still have a lot to be THANKFUL for!!!

Rooster, sorry to hear about your son.
I think your son would very much enjoy, you telling him about a brand new pheasant hunting adventure. By all means take a couple days and get away. Best of luck on everything.
