High protein and organ failure?

Nutrisource is pretty good food. I'm a fan of Diamond. Very similar to PPP ingredients wise, hardly ever a recall unlike PPP and Purina products in general and I can get a 40 pound bag of their Extreme Athlete formula for about $50 online. It's also widely available around me.

Nutrisource is hard for me to find around here for some reason. Which is surprisingly because I believe they are a MN company. Only one local store sells it by me.

I like Diamond Athlete formula, but Whisky didn't like to eat it...

Gotcha. Yeah dogs are finicky that way haha luckily I've never had any issues with any of my dogs. I could probably drop in the cheapest food I could buy or the most expensive and they'd eat it.
 
I feed purina 30/20 salmon bag with GSP on it I have 3 dogs this food suppose to be best for Dobermans the other two like it
After each meal all 3 come back to living room smacking their lips who else can eat same food twice a day year after year and think the past meal was best ever

If you have a Chuck and Don's around you, that is where I get Nutrisource. I've seen it at Menards too, and maybe even Ace Hardware.

I fed Diamond for many years too.
 
A local feed store orders Nutrisource for me but I can get it at Menards, Fleet Farm and Runnings when I go up north to hunt. A pet store next to my son's house in KC also sells it, so I've been able to find it pretty easily without having to order online.
 
West, do you measure out that fish oil exact every meal or eyeball it after a bit? I’m gonna cut down to 26/18 and try the oil. My two shorthairs stay really lean.
 
PPP sport I I just watch the weight…. Cut or up rations when necessary… I have one problem child that adds weight quick (GSP altered bitch)
They may not be Iditarod dogs but. she lost 7 lbs this hunting season and was fairly trim at start. She did some good bit of work.
Do need to keep weight off em or you end up with TPLO surgery to keep a good dog going (don’t ask how I know).
It is expensive but my logic goes like this, Purina has been making dog food a long time and put a lot of study in their product. Blood work last week and everything in the green. 9 ish years on that diet.

Not who you asked but I put fish oil on my dogs food and the brand I buy has a pump nozzle. So I just follow the directions and put 4 pumps of fish oil per day on top of her food.
