Sure was nice to find a site like this! Didnt even know sites like this were on the computer. I found it by accident looking for pheasant info in North Dakota and it looks like a very nice site. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks but will try and post after my hunt on Oct. 21-25. Am not real smart when it comes to computers and wish I had a 6 year old here to help some of the time!! LOL Good luck to all who hunt the wiley roosters this Fall

Hey Putsy, I did a late season hunt near Ashley a couple years ago. I like the area; I prefer hunting hill country to flatlands. The cattail sloughs were holding birds but they were very spooky by that point in the season. I don't know how the birds have fared in that area since then but good luck with your upcoming hunt!

Thank you to all who have replied. It is nice to know all people are not snobs. I dont hunt grouse like I used to anymore mainly because our area has very few. As far as Ashley pheasants, I will post results when I get back on the 26th. I will be hunting surrounding areas too as always looking for new areas to hunt when out there. The farmers always seem very friendly when asked nicely to hunt too. Good luck and long tails to all!!!!!
