I was being totally facetious; I always feel like roosters I've missed fly away giving me "the finger", so I thought I'd toss that our there just for fun

Anyone that is closing an eye while shooting a shotgun can benefit from time with a shooting coach. You loose nearly all depth perception and may be dealing with cross eye dominance. A good coach will sort that out quickly.

I know it's unorthodox, but I can't hit anything with both eyes open.I agree it isn't good.
