Heavy rain last night

Radar had us in the bullseye but everything went around us. Not a drop of rain in Brkgs.

Ended up with 3.7. Just finished a tour of our township roads. We are going to spend a lot of money on gravel. Many places the water is going across the road.

Apparently the storm that blew across southeastern SD, southwestern MN, and northern IA last night was a derecho, which is defined as a wind event that is at least 240 miles long and has sustained winds of at least 58 mph.

Just a normal day here in Kansas.

Well we ended up with 9 inches in 5 days. That doesn't help much but the fire danger and the mosquito population. Sure didn't help the road situation.
