Heading West 2016

Time is moving. I'll be leaving for South Dakota one week from tomorrow. I didn't make it last year, only the second miss since 1999. I will be hunting a new place this year near Redfield. The old place was sold as the owner passed away. Things change. My old hunting partner said that South Dakota is different every year. How true. With birds at about "normal" numbers it should be a good year. I hope everyone has a great hunt!

Good luck. I am headed out a week from Sunday. Looks my forward to another year of pheasant hunting in South Dakota. The weather is looking perfect. Last year it was in the 80's and tough on the dogs and us. Be safe.
