Heading up agian this friday for a week to hunt. Taking a young hunter that will just finished his first semester of college. Looking forward to spending some time in the feild in my favorite stomping grounds!
 
I will be out this weekend again also. I wish we could just get some form of moisture. The temps should be very nice this weekend.
 
Very nice for what??? lol It needs to get damn cold.
 
Sweet... I'm heading out with a buddy the week after Christmas that I just introduced to bird hunting last year.

Unfortunately, most of the birds have probably been obliterated already. You Texans better leave me some roosters, damnit! :D
 
I think the wife is headed to Texas for Christmas, while I get to work another week. Thinking I'll try and grab dad and head west for a day trip Saturday.
 
Man!!! I wonder if you guys know how good you really have it, living up there? Envy isn't a good thing is it? Sorry...I just REALLY wanna get back one more time this year.
 
Spence its gonna be a good day for for hunting meeting a couple new peaple and of cours drinking a few that evening
 
i just finished a 4 day trip with mixed results.......couple days fared pretty well, but last 2 days have been extremely difficult, birds are running hard and dogs becoming frustrated trying to point birds, really tough....not sure i will go again, unless we get some snow and cold temps, it is a lot of work and tough on dogs right now....have seen a lot of deer and turkey, normal for the area i have been in.....good luck to all.
 
I seen a lot of turkeys last week as well... almost made me consider taking my bow out, and decapitating one of those knuckleheads!
 
Working w/KDPW and taking a bunch of kids to the Glen Elder area. We'll hunt Saturday morning, shoot clay targets that afternoon in the park and hunt again Sunday morning.

A couple of former professional athletes and some guy currently serving in the National Guard will be joining us. Wayne Hubbard with Urban American Outdoors TV show will be along as well.
