Hawk scream e collar

I hunt with a guy that bought the trainer/gps system for his dog, and he loves it. After his old collar gave up the ghost, and he kept losing track of his dog in the cat tails of S D, he ponied up. He's glad he did it! When mine dies, that's the route I'm taking. Beepers...no thanx. I believe the quieter the better. Roosters can be wiley enough without the advanced warning.

I haven't yet but I intend to start using the hawk scream. My dog was scared of it at first - I think because it is so loud and he doesn't know where it's coming from so he gets all confused when he hears it.

I recommend putting the volume setting on low and duct tape over the speaker. If you want to condition the dog to it hang it on the fence in the corner of the yard and play fetch.
