I agree OP, these guns coming out are just rediculous now days. People get these AR type or "tactical" guns and think they're playing call of duty or something.

I saw a NEF Handi-Rifle complete picattiny rail with 50mm scope, under-barrel mounted laser and light, adjustable cheekpiece butt stock, vertical handgrip on the forearm, all tacticool camo'd up. I think it was way more stupider.

It's basically a modernized coach gun like people used to carry when they "rode shotgun" on horse drawn vehicles and trains. Moreover, one has the peace of mind of two reliable shots with no chance of a jam. But I ain't gettin' one cuz I got an Anaconda.

I think you guys are missing the point. If I'm not mistaken the Stoeger in question was designed for home defense in mind.

To each there own, but in my opinion we in the hunting/shooting and gun community in general need to stick together as we are almost always under attack in some way shape or form IMHO.

Couldn't agree more...

In fact.. as an owner of several firearms myself I recently wrote a letter titled - letter from a gun owner.. It was in response to many recent articles posted about banning types of firearms and extremely restrictive gun regulations. We as gun owners need to stand together. There are many people who label us a fringe crazies who place our right to bare arms over the lives of the recent children who were slain...atleast that is what some media outlets are trying to do.. Horrible stuff all around. Feel free to read the "letter" here and share with anyone if you feel this letter accurately describes you. God bless
