Hail vs Chicks

Has the recent reports of large hail falling across s/e Co. and s/w Ks this past week caused any damage to the pheasant chicks or is it to early to determind? thanks for any reply.

It is too early to tell, but big hail with the peak of the hatch around June 10 isn't a good thing. The heavy rain can be just as bad. The delay it may put on wheat harvest may help, but it won't replace a washout.
