Had to say goodbye yesterday

Put a 14.5 yearold dog down three weeks ago. Tho they did not interact that much, my 9 year old was obviously affected as they had both been in the house together for nine years. Most of the time when they went outside they went separate ways. Mazzie had a couple of events that seemed unrelated (heavy panting and nervousness) but I do not know what else to relate them to. Fine now in any case as she had 6 solid finds and points Sat.

moving on

last oct. bogey passed on, got 15 seasons out of him, was it a loss, yes but that is life, he had a great one and now has made rooms for other's, just what is going to happen when I give it up. the great part of nature is the love and the ability to move on, start again or whatever ya want to do. I don't think in my number of dogs have I ever noticed the dog left behind hardly ever blinking over his or her buddy missing and all of my dogs were house type and have had many years together. one thing that is obvious is that when I only take one dog with me, the other knows it just got screwed and when I bring it home it gets checked out pretty good to see maybe what it has been up too and then, back to the couch. pretty short time span they have. accidents are something else again, those are sad happenings, enjoying a great life isn't

cheers
