Habitat - How Long??

Releasing pen raised birds or chicks just treats the fever and not the flu. If you don't have the habitat, then released birds aren't going to do anything. I've talked with several landowners that released hens in the spring or had surragotors and had birds all over the place. But, everybody who didn't release birds also had birds all over the place. I'd spent the $ on habitat.

I agree completely. Our first priority is to develop habitat the birds can't refuse. As one guy put it, we're trying to create a pheasant Disneyland.
