Gun wish list

Never had the itch to collect much for shot guns. I shoot my 11-87 pretty decent, so that is what I hunt with, after a few decades you get to know a gun pretty well. I have enough for a spare or 2 and can outfit a couple guys if needed. Have pretty much what I want, I don't even window shop guns any more. How pathetic is that?
I still look at guns from time to time, still looking for that one in a million special antique gun.

I don't really have a desire to have a gun that's worth so much that I can't take out and bang it up some. I've got a pretty some pretty nice sxs's and o/u's in all the common gauges. But I'm still a sucker for light weight 20's. I'll probably have an Ithaca skb with 25-inch barrels sooner or later.

I would much rather repair the finish on a fine gun than a Browning or the like. It is so much easier to repair the stock finish because they are usually hand rubber oil vs. spray on poly, etc.

When I left grad school in 1979, I treated myself to a SKB 200E 20ga 25”, IC/Mod. A friend paid $350 NIB. I gave him $125 a month for 3 months. That gun just killed birds and defines me as a shooter. Find one Dude. Good luck.
