Guess what I found?

Was going through some shells the other day and I found some 2 3/4 inch high brass 6 mags. With the letters "Wards" on them. As in Montgomery Wards.

Those are probably from the mid 70's or earlier.

Anyone remember them?

yes, and now I feel old. Worked at Montgomery Wards as a kid too!

My brother told me he still has a CASE of Winchester high brass #6s left from when we were in high school in the late 1960s. He doesn't get much pheasant action in SE Minnesota.

Plastic. They seem to work just fine. Ran a few through the gun a couple of years ago. I may have more if I look around some more.
