Looking to do my first grouse hunt here in Nebraska, any areas recommend for my hunt?

Hey Rascal I've been wanting to go for at least 2 years now. Still waiting. Hoping this year will be the year.
Upland, I would try to call the biologists in the areas you are looking at hunting. They are a wealth of information and will probably be able to tell you the best areas in the state to hunt. Don't be afraid to call them. Most of them in my area know me by name now I call them so much.
I did recieve an email from an aquaintance who was going to check for me. He asked a friend of his who hunts them in the Sandhills. He told him the way to find grouse is by having strong legs and lungs.
