Hi all. I have viewed most of the threads and am impressed at the involvement...I will do my best to contribute as well. I am a die-hard pheasant hunter and part time fish biologist here in Idaho. When I'm not wast deep in a stream I am putting thousands of miles on my truck chasing birds in Montana, South Dakota, and here in Idaho with my two dogs.
Cheers.

Welcome to UPH. From your next door neighbor in Washington. What kind of dogs do Have?...........Bob

Hi Bob. I have a 10 month old black lab from Tiger Mountain in Ellensburg and a 6 yr old black from Bear Creek in Craig Colorado. Just got back in from training and both are cuddled up next to the fireplace where they will stay for the rest of the night. What breed of dog do you hunt?

Yes, I have only one Brit Tony he is 10. I see that you slightly south of me. Do you hunt south or north of Moscow?...............Bob

I generally hunt South of Moscow and even South of Lewiston most of the time...but will hunt north of town if I am interested in shooting a few quail. In years past I bouth a Wa small game license but didn't this year due to the low bird numbers, plus I was having more and more difficulty accessing private land. When I first moved out here 10 yrs ago almost everybody around Pullman and Garfield would let you hunt but recently they have been tightening the thumb screws. How far from Spokane do you have to travel to get into birds?

Tucker and I welcome you. Hope you enjoy.
