Great way to close out the season

My boss took me out today on his ground. He knew of 6 coveys but we were only able to find 3. Shot 11 birds, lost one. One of the coveys was huge... 25 birds or so. We saw em running up an edge trying to out smart us! Dogs got them pinned down and it was on! Hunted 8:30-1:00. Can't wait for next year!

That's a heck of 1/2 day hunt !!! And yes can't beat a boss to hunt with , this was during the week to wasn't it ?

Yes we hunted Friday so I got a 3 day weekend! He has done a ton of great management on his ground. He has a ton of quail, we just were only able to find 3 coveys.
