Great Ending to the Trip!!

Well another great hunt trip in South Dakota ended at sunset today! The highlight of the trip was my 76 year old Grandpa harvesting his first wild South Dakota rooster! It was his dream to hunt pheasants in South Dakota and he never thought he would. This is our second year hunting this great state and his health kept him from going last year and almost sidelined him again this year. He toughed it out and hung in for five days of hunting without any luck, until the last push of the final evening. And him and his 1930's Ithaca LeFever Nitro Special .410 finally connected! Made the whole trip!!
