I need a new GPS
I'd like to be able to get one that I can download maps.
Question is:
If I download the maps from the SD DNR - like these
http://www.sdgfp.info/wildlife/gps/index.asp
and I had this GPS
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t..._redir&parentType=index&indexId=cat21350&rid=
could I then pull up any given walk in area and follow my GPS to that area similar to what I do now with the GPS in my truck? Would it give me turn by turn instructions, etc?
Im headed to SD alone this year so following a mapbook will be much more difficult without having a navigator to tell me when and where to turn.
Any other GPS's you would recommend if this is possible? I have had a couple of Garmins in the past so some familiarity with them is a bonus.
Thoughts?
