GPS + Walk-in maps...

I can't remeber if it was here or where it was that some people were talking about trying to upload walkin land to their GPS so they would show up on there instead of having to flip through the book....

Anyone know anything about this?
 
My friends and I are trying to develop some software for this reason. Do you think there is a need for something like this? Would you purchase it? Please give feedback guys!

If I had a GPS, I would buy software with such capability. Doubt I'll be getting GPS anytime soon though.
 
I'd want it for Kansas. I'd been looking to get one for awhile, it sure helps when hunting and finding fields, and best buy has a pretty good sale on them now. I just picked up a Garmin Nuvi 255w for $109.
