Gophers

When I do a remodel on my grass, is it important to get rid of the gophers, I had trouble with them in the antlerking food plot and it seems they can wreck prety good areas in that. So I was wondering if they will have the same effect with new grasses, If so I guess i am in for alot of work before planting anything, Between brome grass and gophers it could be a challenge.

Springer, only advice I can offer is to maybe watch caddie shack. Karl seems to have a pretty good handle on the gophers. Treat it like "varmint kong".

Assuming it's pocket gophers you are having trouble with, maybe there's a youngster or two that could be put into trapping service for hire. Did some of that years ago myself.

I wish, they all like too much playstation, and don't want fingers dirty anymore. I would gladly pay some kid. I am going to try and find one of those gopher blaster's that shoot propane in the hole then ignights and blows the crap out of em. Any one got one they want to rent out for some humane gopher controll? .:thumbsup:
