Goodland, KS or South of Oakley

I have been hunting out around the Oakley area. I was thinking of trying something new. Should I go west towards Goodland or go South out of Oakley? I will be in the area the second week of the season.

Neither will be very good at all. West of Goodland just got pounded with baseball size hail and south of Oakley was hit with springs snow, heavy rain, and hail. No hatch to speak of.
