Good Things Happening in SD

As much as Game and Fish counts steer people in one direction I know first hand that there are some very good efforts going on in SD that are not reflected in GFP's data.

We will see CRP reform and these enrollments of huge fields will dimish in place of more and better optimized acres.

Great article Chris. I am learning more about all of this but it has not been easy and I guess all I can do is to keep on trying I've added another 18.66 acres of CP-18 this fall

It can be a lot to manage Jim. You are contributing to the "good" factor in SD. This is why many producers don't have time for the conservation side of their farm.

What I am doing is just like farming though most would not call it farming but the commitment and management is the same.

Keep up the investment. It will payoff.
