Good luck to all the youth hunters!

I have an 11-year-old nephew, and I'm trying to get him into hunting, but his parents are religious freaks, plus he's a very small kid, last year my brother did bring him out for a day of hunting, and I let him fire the peashooter 28 but it didn't fit him.

We only saw one other group with 2 kids out yesterday, but I definitely see adults on the youth turkey hunt every year
I should clarify, I see adults with kids and the adults are also carrying guns. They think that since it is youth season they get to hunt along with the kids.

We have a bunch of early youth hunts here in MN (deer and waterfowl). Adults that accompany the youths are absolutely not permitted to partake in the hunt. The regs are very clear about that. They can only "supervise."

Technically an adult that is participating and shooting during a youth hunt is poaching. I'd turn em in.
