Hi chaps,



I have not been on here for a while and have been concentrating on fishing a lot more but thought I would pop on to wish everyone luck with the upcoming season ? the pheasant season here in England starts tomorrow!



Although most shoots won?t start until November so that the birds are a little bit older and fully feathered.



As you may know and I have posted before, finding shooting in England is very difficult as you have to obtain landowners permission ? I will be following your shooting exploits on here as sadly I no longer have anywhere to hunt myself (disappointingly, someone who I took to my ground to shoot as a guest has poached the ground behind my back when I was over in California so I can no longer shoot there!).

Sorry to hear about your spot:mad: What was the guy poaching if you don't mind my asking? Was he going back for pheasants or another species?
 
Thanks for visiting us again. Best of luck in your pheasant season. Here in Kansas we have plenty of free hunting opportunities but apparently few birds due to several years of drought.
 
Thank you Oscarsdad. If you ever visit California in the fall you have an open invitation to hunt with my dogs and I, I'm sure you will get a kick out of my rough (very rough) shooting springers and the wild places I enjoy.:cheers:
 
I saw a show once about Princess Diana's brother's "estate"....it looked to be full of game. I'd go beat on his door and get permission to hunt there!!!:)
