Good Day

It was a cold and windy day chasing roosters today. These are all wild birds. I believe half the fun is trying to place blockers and flankers in the right place this time of year to get the opportunity to harvest some very well educated roosters. The hen/rooster ratio is about 5 to 1 right now.

WH,
what a great picture! :10sign: Where did you come across that old grain drill??
Wild roosters this time of year are pretty doggone smart! They will find the holes if you don't have your blockers and flankers in the right spots!

awesome pic smart roosters in sd your kidding right? they have to be the dumbest birds i have ever seen try kansas if you want to see a smart bird!!

Wow, nice! I'm gonna go wipe the drool off my keyboard now . . .

Good pic! colorful bunch of birds there.

That old drill looks to be in excellent condition, you could hook er up and plant.
Maybe a bit of lube.

Oh yeah I see some missing parts.

The drill was left out in the weeds for years, I just pulled it out this year. In past years walked through the grass to take pictures.
