Anybody have one...I'm may be working a trade for one and would appreciate some advice. (Please: No Ford or Dodge comments.)

Are we talking the GMC Terrain suv or the All Terrain Sierra? My dad has a A/T Sierra, ext cab, 6.2l gasser. It pulls his travel trailer great, does well off road and clocked in 19+ mpg on our 1,000 mi round trip recently. If I could afford one I would have one in a heart beat.
 
Gotcha. The A/T package is just a trim package on the Sierra z71 base I believe. I have an 05 z71 reg cab with the 5.3l. 220k miles on it and I've never had a problem at all with the truck save for one tranny rebuild at 180k. Mine, with all it's high miles, will still tick off 19+ mpg hwy (used to be over 20) and doesn't burn a drop of oil between changes and I always let it go between 5-6k on the oil. The Ls family engines are the best thing GM has ever built imo.
