Gender specific name???

My question is.

Is it ok to name a female dog a male name???

I have a Male PP and have a female ordered. My male is Packer, I would like to stick with a Green Bay Packer theme and have thought about

Aaron
Starr

Those names seem common. But we like other GBP names like Nitschke.
What do you guys think? I cant say I have ever known a dog that has had
a transgender name!!! lol

I have a friend who's females name is "Kevin", she doesn't seem to mind, lol

Our female is named Wilhelmina. We usually call her Willie. Most people probably hear her name and think she is a male....they would be wrong.
I also know a female dog named Kevin

Lambeau call her Lam or Beau or stick an I on the end and call her Lami.

Personally I'd stick with a female or gender neutral name. I think Starr would be would be one of those neutral names.

Waiting to see what gender the pup identifies with sounds like the LEFT thing to do. That cracked my wife and I up!

Love Lambeau, Jordi, Starr, Reggi. Jordi is awesome that way when I pass through Leanardsville KS and stop by Nelson's Landing maybe we can get a free sandwich or have our picture taken with Jordy's mom.

Let's think about this. Really. I doubt it will matter what gender the name is most commonly associated with. You just need a respectable name. Like Kramer....or A.C....or Fuad. Or the obvious one that'd suit either male or female....Fran.

I, personally, don't like it. Plus, you don't want the dog to develop an inferiority complex just because of a name. It would be really hard to not yell, "Fayvree (insert any derogatory expletive)!!!"
