Fungal infections

I came across this article on fungal infections, which happens to be about the grandsire of my pup, and thought it would be good to post for other to see:

I think I have had a few of these between the toes on my feet a few times.:laugh: But in all seriousness, this dog Zip is one of the best, winning a national and is going through hell. It is a good thing to think about and I hope he pulls through.

Any idea where a dog picks up this type of fungas and is it particular to spaniels?

Fungal Infection

We lost a dog to blasto a couple years ago. Is actually fairly common and for dogs the disease is usually too far along before being diagnosed.
