Full Blaze Orange Reminders

Youth hunts cater to one demographic. Adults cannot participate. They supervise, but they cannot participate. And yet, during the regular season, youth can participate. It's not a 2 way street.

I'm against every early special season. It has nothing to do with being a youth hunter actually. Every duck and goose has been shot or shot at by the time the regular waterfowl season opens because we have an early teal season, an early goose season, and an early youth season. Its ridiculous.

Pretty soon there's gonna be an early youth walleye season.

I think the seasons should all open on the same day and everyone should have the same crack at it.

You have your opinion, and I have mine. No hard feelings.

😂😂😂 Never thought of that one.

I just wish the MN gun deer season was a little more compressed. I'm all for deer hunting, don't get me wrong, if anything they should allow people to shoot more of them. As it sits right now the season starts in mid October and splotches all the way through late December.

The one that really gets me is youth waterfowl and early teal. These I do not agree with, because many of the ducks will be shot at and migrate out of dodge by the time the real opener comes. Dennis Anderson the outdoor newspaperman has written on this several times and this is his general take.

These early, late, and youth seasons are implemented to provide access and to fulfill wildlife management goals.

If you are upset that the youth waterfowl, early goose, and early teal seasons impact your personal access to waterfowl, the simple solution is to participate in those seasons.

If you do not like the deer season, don't go deer hunting.

No hard feelings, guys. I just do not share your concerns. I really fail to see how these opportunities for youth and deer and goose management seasons negatively impact my opportunities and experiences in the outdoors.
