In the High Country around Winter Park yesterday the first signs of Winter showed themselves. Nice dusting on the peaks!!!

Yes it's that time of the year in the high country. Snow will be flying in the low country before long. Time to start thinking about Pheasant hunting and filling big game tags.:)

Snowed today as well!! Dreary day here with light rain all day and was 54 degrees at 1 p.m.

There is a nice dusting of snow on top of Pikes Peak this morning...I love fall:cheers::10sign:

I just hope some it heads down KS, OK, and TX way....

We've been getting the white stuff in the higher peaks of the San Juan's too.
A lot of rain here in Bayfield and durango the last two weeks.

ZIP YOUR LIPS!!

I use to love winter, snowmobiled, cut firewood, ice fished, plowed snow, Etc. I was outside all day no matter the temps. Since my illness set in. I HATE WINTER!!!

In a way I know what you are talking about Onpoint. I have arthritis in my spine.I can take the snow but when it gets really cold that is when it bothers my spine.I can solve that usually by the way I dress and what I do.

Hot Toddies seem to help!!!:thumbsup:LOL!!

I can't have any of that anymore either. I haven't had a drop in 6 weeks.

Somebody kill me!!

OnPoint you can do it......You will feel better in the end when you do

This illness has took so much enjoyment for me it's unreal but I still feel lucky compared to many. There are others far worse then me, I will keep making the best of what the good lord has to offer. I have been in extreme pain and fatigue so long. I have learned to except it. I have to do all I can to stay ahead of this thing.

I still hope to get out ice fishing some this winter, I use my snownobile then. So I can kill two birds with one stone and try to enjoy a little of both sports, rather then a lot of each of them.

It's 3:44 in the morning, in too much pain to sleep so I'm cooking my pork, beef, venison and chicken meat for my Gumbo needed for this weekend. I'll have it all cooked and deboned by sun up I hope.

Have a good day guys
