First day with wing

just another nut that can dish it out and cant take it. sorry to rain on your parade. guess I'll just bug out of this site thanks to you and your prickish attitude. thanks AH I'm not new to the internet, and post count doesn't make your opinion any more valid than mine.........you've just been here longer...think about it champ and then pound sand

Dude, do not let one person views on a forum influence if you are willing to participate in that forum.;)

I agree with your view that a low post count does not nor should not make an opinion less valid.

If you have something to say that is helpful. Share the wealth.:)

I agree- after all- seeing by pictures mine have no style and are overweight- and one wonders why mine stick their tounges out

was a good question by VJohn-
since wanted to know all about mine in trials and he wasn't impressed by trial dogs I wasn't surprised to hear the answere

still running yout mouth i see shadow keep beating the dead horse im still waiting on what region you run and the name of your dog would love to see how great of a champion he is and how many points he has, you must have forgotten for some strange reason?

the guy has never trialed before- bought a pup out of my breeding long ago- was a real good bird dog that he hunted for 13 years- it passed away- he wanted a pup from me again and waited 2 years- he wanted to try field trialing- a bit scared of the big timers- layed low and didn't mingle- got quite a bit of critisism about what he was doing wrong

worked pretty hard at it to understand a young Britt and it's potential-placed 1st in amature- then placed 1st in open against 32 dogs- has to run open now- if I told you all about it and another dog in trials- feel you just wouldn't understand- I don't want pressure for this guy and his young Britt-

if you were a trialer who took 1 dog and ran- maybe I would tell you

you speak harsh of my Britt's- I haven't seen pictures of yours hunting from 4 months on-

doubt you'd know a Top Dog if you saw one-

i have crushed many trial dogs while hunting dought i could now but your boring me im done with this beat up thread i know one thing for sure teach your dogs not to creep in at 3 ft and act like that is a back im not buying it you might want to look in the mirror the way you talk to some people on here.

like I said- you can tell so much by my pictures
you seem to say you don't have good enough dogs to run with mine-

you crack me up- you think mine creep and back at 3'

I can run NSTRA with any of mine- you can't

btw- I've heard so many like you - crushed field trial dogs- yea right

Anyway, back to the original post. I prefer the Orange pointer, from that angle, it looks exactly like my little English Pointer, Lucy. I worked a lot with a wing when she was a pup, we used them for scenting also not just sight, just dragging them through the grass and then letting the dogs find them that way. Seemed to help our pups quite a bit when they were first starting out!

most eps are hard of hearing aj lol and hard headed whew!!!! im sorry for ruining your thread i will get my head out of the sand now:) how does the orange one run? he looks more classy on point i just like the markings on the liver one

The orange one tends to just want to run with my lab, but comes when I call her. Both pups are extremely birdy and I look forward to next years bird season.

That is the down side to running some pups with older dogs. My setter pup will run on his own until he gets bored. Then he will start trying to play with my older setter. Nothing wrong with running them together some of the time.

But those pointer pups should be running well out ahead of a lab. Try running them some times by themselves and see what you see.

But most importantly keep getting them out and into some birds. You only get this puppy time for a short while, and it is some of the most important time there is to develop them.

Looks like you got some pretty nice pups to work with
