Pretty sure I remember the Governor shutting down most outdoor activities or at least stopping any travel off gravel roads one fall some 35 - 40 years ago.

Be careful out there if pheasant hunting this fall especially if you are a smoker.

This makes me nervous. Sometimes on the backroads it's tough finding a place to park that doesn't either A. Block the road, or B. pull off the side and then you got a hot truck on top of tall grass.

There was one north of Bismarck on Sat. Yesterday there was one near Scranton and mention of one near Wyndmere.

And yet south of Dickinson where I live we're constantly seeing NR driving on prairie trails with tall, dead grass in the center. We've already had wild fires up around Tioga. We'll be damned lucky not to have one around Dix...

Just came back from a week hunting North Dakota. Drove past Ray and Tioga. Couldn’t believe the wildfire devastation. Over 90 thousand acres in that area burned. 2 people died in the blaze. High winds and warmer temperatures while we were there. Please use all caution when driving, parking off roads. God bless those poor souls.
