Been using these on birds, flat out awesome. They got a notch in the blade & will cut the wings off in a heart beat....just thought I'd pass on

I've been using the Gerber ones. Best I've found. Better than ones I've tried costing 3-4 times as much.

I agree the Gerber work very well but I haven't tried many others.

I use the Kershaw game shears. They make short work of a bird and also have the notch in the blade for cutting bones, legs, wings........

Besides working well another thing I like about the Gerber's is that they come apart for easy cleaning.

Me too.

A buddy brought me a pair of Pampered Chef kitchen shears, told me they were the greatest thing his family had used. It was a nice gesture.

When we were cleaning a limit of birds at the end of the day, he kind of just hung his head because his didn't have the bone notch and the leg or wing would just shoot out the end. Next time we went I noticed he had a pair of Gerbers.
