Has anybody had a newer f150? Any report?
Yeah ,20kMy buddy bought a used, Lariat?? for his retirement present. Top of the line, whatever that model is called. Gave 40 K used. He loves it and it is awesome inside and out, But daaaam, I don't see one in my future!
I think Ford transmission is better.Got a 2022 Lariat and that replaced a 2018 I think. Great trucks. 3.5 Eco Boost has been very good. My 2018 is over 200K nothing major. Current truck is at 92K miles. Starting to look at a new one for this spring. Nothing else is even in consideration for the new one.
That's strangeI bought a new 2023 F150 in March and already have 29,000 miles on it. I love the truck, but just about a month ago I had an axle bolt break out of no where for no good reason. I had heard some rattling in the backend and thought is was just a stone I had picked up Anyway when I was having tires rotated asked mechanic to chec. Soon he texted me a photo of axle bolt broke off completely and you could tell by the wear it had been broken for a while.
Turns out Ford has a recall in on this problem. It took dealership two weekends to get a replacement part. Apparently problem has been only in Super Duty and 1/2 ton with trailer package
PlatinumYeah ,20k
Goose, I figured you to be more of a Raptor guy than a Platinum.Platinum
That is the exact specs of my last two and not had that at all.I went and test drove a 2024 EcoBoost with the 6.5 foot bed. I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel over 65 and got worse at 75-80. Has anyone else experienced this? The truck was awesome and loved everything about it except this.
