I am the Editor of an exciting new Michigan based newsletter dedicated to upland bird hunting, dog training and shooting sports in Michigan and surrounding areas. Our January/February issue came out with rave reviews and we are poised to have a very successful newsletter.

We are featuring breeders, trainers, guides, etc. we are also featuring vet tips and upcoming events. if you or someone you know has an idea for an article or would like to advertise with us feel free to contact me at englishsetterguy@hotmail.com and I will be glad to discuss that with you.

Good luck with your newsletter. I hunted only one season in Michigan, then was transferred, but I did hunt in the thumb area for grouse, circa 1969.

It was early in the season and I recall the small trees were very close together...kind of like hunting in a jungle! We didn't fare very well, but had fun. The hunt was on paper mill land.
