English stock Citori help

I purchased a new quail gun this year. I have always loved the look and feel of an English stocked gun. I found a used (kinda beat up) browning citori with an English stock at a price I thought was right. Somebody had put a 1" thick recoil pad on the gun. Guess what? the lop is about an inch to long for me. I want to find just a plain butt plate for it. A search of the web finds plenty of them, but none that are specifically for the English stock. Any chance they would use the same one?

I think they are pretty close. I had a Citori 20b with the english stock that had a plastic pad. The LOP on that gun was only about 13.5" so I added a pad that was a no-grind model. It fit, not perfect but it did fit. The 12b that my wife has came with a ventilated recoil pad factory installed and it only has a 13.5" LOP.
I'm sure the 12b stock is bigger than the 20b though.

wood

If the wood was ever cut down (shortened) on the buttstock,
a normal - full sized butt plate will be too big. Plate would have to be "trimmed" down to mmatch the dimensions / shape of the wood.

Call Brownell's, Larry Potterfield at Midwest, or Numerich Arms. Chances are they have one. If not take of the 1" pad off, put a 1/2" pad, or if needed a small spacer.
