Eastern Colorado Deer Tag

Does anyone have a deer tag for eastern Colorado this year? Has anyone already had success? Post up some pics.

I have a late season (Dec 1-14) whitetail only tag for unit 98 (south of Holyoke, north of Yuma). Hopefully I'll be able to locate a nice buck.

So if you know of anyone that has a deer problem they need help with, just let me know! :D

Yo Chad,
You're gonna hammer a monster! I would suggest carrying some slugs into the CRP fields when you're bird hunting :) (or at least sling a rifle over your back). I've bumped some pretty good looking whitetails south of Flemming and Haxtun along those dry creek beds.

You might want to check out this handy GIS hunting resource the CPW put out recently. Among lots of other things (it's most useful for elk hunting), it offers whitetail winter range overlays which can be helpful identifying concentration areas (which, you're probably already aware of).

Man, i sure hope I hammer something decent. my blackpowder tag last year left me with tag soup. Yeah I was going to carry my rifle in a day pack with a nice scabbard. Can't wait!

Well, I,m heading out tomorrow evening to Chase whitetails this weekend. Hopefully I put one down Sat morning and can bird hunt the rest of the day.
