Anybody with experience in the area know which hotels in both Holyoke & Yuma are the best, most economical & most dog-friendly for hunters???

I currently have reservations at both Golden Plains in Holyoke (???) & Sunrise Inn at Yuma (???) - but would greatly appreciate a quick heads-up if either of these are unsatisfactory or there or other better options, since this will be my first overnite stay in the area!

Thx

Golden Plains has been my fav for several years. Nice folks, decent rooms, and fine with dogs. Good food around the corner at the Skillet. Safe and fun hunting!

I usually Stay at the Harvest Motel in Yuma... they charge 6 or 7 for the dog to be in the room. Can't remember rates exactly... but they were cheaper than Nelson's and had a pretty decent breakfast ready in time for the morning hunt.

Thx JHoch--you just saved me 20-25 bucks in Yuma & got me free breakfast thrown in! I don't need anything fancy at all for the pooch & I just to rest our paws/feet at nite - as long as the place is not a pig-sty! Hope to see you at the coffeepot bright & early Sat a.m...

Think I'll keep the Golden Plains for Thurs nite, since it is almost identical in price & everyone's comments on it were so positive!

Whaddya waitin' on boys - Let's Get Out There & Git Em' Be4 Season's-Curtain Falls!!! :D
