DoubleTeam Sorghum

Following UGuide's recommendations for food plot system, I've decided to go with the DoubleTeam Sorghum this year on our properties, which can be used with FirstAct Herbicide to control weeds. Anyone else have any experience growing this sorghum?

If just a wildlife situation was the goal then there would be no need for the dt trait. If feed with grass control is needed it is useful

We just have some issues with foxtail and such getting so bad in our plots that they make for stunted sorghum with very small heads, even with pre-emerge sometimes. I am a big fan of some weed in plots, but it seems they can really choke out the sorghum.

Let us know how it goes, 83z28 (pioneer seed) with Zest ( Corteva) over the top for grass control is another new “ Inzen” trait sorghum… I might plant it for harvest this year if we can get a good contract price.
Really low application rate on the Zest 1.5 ounces/acre..
