Dab hot glue in the breather holes in your favorite hat. Generous coating of snow seal followed by 10 minutes in a 175 degree oven. Repeat with a second coat. If nothing else you have a cool new waxed hat.

Pretty slick, you'll never be without a bowl again and if it's hot out just flip it over and use the inside.:thumbsup:

I would use this instead of the SnoSeal or just buy the Filson waxed baseball cap from the get go like I have. Comes waxed and no breather holes.
 
Here is a highly advanced version of a spray-on waterproofer, that I sell to my motorcycle customers. When I demo it to a customer I put a paper towel over a Dixie cup, spray it on, let it dry. You can pour water into it and it will sit there, in a puddle for weeks. Turn it over and pour water in, it runs right through. so, it lets your clothing breathe, but still keeps you dry. I bet it sheds blood but haven't tried it., because it sheds oil and keeps your clothing much cleaner.
