Doe hunt

I have a question for all you deer hunters. Did anybody Doe hunt yesterday? Me and my son went. We were in the stand by 6am come sunrise not a sound not even the tweety birds were making noise. Did anyone else have this happen to them? It was quite all day.

Shot one Saturday at about 4:45pm. After field dressing and loading it, I drove by another field about a mile down the road where I used to be able to hunt. It had about 30 deer on it.
 
Shot one Saturday about 5:10pm. The only day I got to truly deer hunt all year. This whole toddler/pregnant wife/work thing is really killing my hunting time.

Lots of activity on Saturday between deer, coyotes, and a Bald Eagle that flew over in the morning.

Best part of your post is the toddler, pregnant wife scenario. I have so many great memories of hunting with my children!:) It will all be worth it!

Oh I know, my 2 year old has more custom knives and guns lying in wait than my wife is aware of...... :D
