Deer Hunter Survey

You wouldn't have the circus if the tags couldn't be sold. It was the buck tags that brought on the problems. I don't understand why I shouldn't be able to GIVE damage doe only tags to whomever I want to if I have all the deer meat I want. I guess you're right its better to just shoot them and leave them lay which is legal.

Damage tags are okay as long as the KDWPT sends out a biologist to determine that deer are actually causing damage. There are a few isolated area's where I believe that deer are actually doing crop damage. Most is BS.

In our area the game warden comes out and looks. Very rarely does he turn the landowner down. The deer are terrible thick around here. I almost hit one in my new pickup a few nights ago. There is a Kansas law the allows a landowner to remove wildlife thats doing damage to their property, so I think its pretty hard to get turned down if you can show damage which is very easy to do. Hitting a deer on the road is different than deer destroying crops because the deer is on public property or a public right of way when it is hit.
