CZ Ringneck 16 Guage

All right you side by side officinados, cabin fever and reading your posts have convinced me that I need a 16 guage sxs. The CZ Ringneck looks like a decent entry level gun but further "net surfing" led me to Dehaan Shotguns http://dhshotguns.com/ who upgrades the Turkish threat into a more handsome gun. I think it would be cool to have a gun in the safe with some local flair. I am thinking of going with the straight english stock, the beavertail forearm, and engraving pattern S. This puts the gun in at 1750, is there another 16 guage sxs that is a way better gun for the money? My main gun is my Beretta SV10 so this would not be my primary weapon, is there anything else I should know about a sxs as I've never even shot one. Thanks in advance. Also let me know if you think that engraving pattern looks cool or if it is lame, I do not have an eye for fashion so my wife says.
I had to throw in an edit, what about double triggers?

it might be nice to shoot somebody elses before you decide.like a couple of boxes of shells at sporting clays, skeet, etc.the double trigger concept is sorta awkward at first.for me, reaching for the front trigger is actually uncomfortable.i supposed over the years that i should learn to use my index and middle finger to work the triggers but that feels odd.you'll hear people mention how they like 2 triggers because it allows them to "chose chokes" instantaneously. i think that situation doesnt come up that often.
however theres a reason that sxs(rifles and shot guns) have been popular for so long once you get used to them they seem to be suited for "snap shooting, pointabilty". i mostly shoot automatics because i shoot alot of hand loaded ,hi velocity steel and im probaly over cautious about putting that through a sxs.go ahead and get one

double triggers

Those are all good points, having shot an o/u for the last 20 years i took out a pump gun hunting once thinking it would be fun to use my old trusty gun. It was a nightmare trying to work the action into a second shot, I guess my train of thought on the sxs would be for tight shots for forest grouse and mountain quail. Sometime time has passed since my original post and although I think the 16 would be cool the CZ model uses 12 guage sleeved barrels driving up the weight. So I think I'll look harder at the 20 guage sxs.

Are you sure about this? The Ringnecks are built on gauge specific frames. Weight for a 12 ga. with 28" barrels is listed as 7.3 lbs. and the 16 ga. with 28" barrels is 6.8 lbs. If the 16 did in fact use 12 ga. sleeved barrels wouldn't it stand to reason that the 16 would be heavier than a 12? And how would they fit 12 ga. barrels on a 16 gauge frame? Just wondering.

16 guage

No, Im not sure just from what I've read on the forums that said the barrels are from 12 guage block, this is the part of living in the middle of knowhere that sucks, I hope to get down to Spokane to check them out in the next week or so. I saw that weight as well, anybody have one first hand that could clarify?

Can't say I've ever seen or shot a 16ga ringneck but I absolutely love my 28ga ringneck. When people hold it they can't believe you can get a 28 on a gauge specific frame with the quality of fit and finish on my gun in this price range. After 3 seasons though about half of my case coloring is gone which would be my only complaint about the gun. Dehann hand selects only the best huglu guns to customize so I expect the wood and fit and finish to be superior to a run of the mill CZ.
