I'm having more responsibility placed on my lap here and need help clarifying what's what with CRP. :) like this;

"meet" 327 standard, CPR 680.03

50 pt CRP, CP2, CP4B, CP4D, CP33, CP25, CP38

Any help is greatly appreciated. If I can get a away from work Monday I'm going to stop by the farm bureau to get more help too.:) --1pheas4

1pheas4,

where is this new responsibility coming from???

Without more info the best I could suggest is to get ahold of your local PF biologist as they are the CRP gurus. You can find your closest one on the PF website.

Thanks UGUIDE. My PF rep is the one who sent the info to me. It's banquet time so he's a bit overloaded right now. Thought I'd let him be for awhile.:)

Anyway, All the mentioned programs are for Illinois. They are attached to a CRP/PF,QF grant program. If that's not enough info I'll call our IDNR habitat manager to see if he's up for the task:D

Thanks!:)

I would just make an appoint with the NRCS office. The office I deal with is very good and extremely helpful. I know not all government agencies are this way but I have had dealings with NRCS/FSA offices in 6 different counties in two states and really have no complaints.

I think that's my next move. I was reading some more details in regards to grants and matching this and that. The more I read into it the more confused I'm getting. Thanks much:)

I just sat down with my local FSA office and got the full briefing on CRP. This may be the first time I get involved and they were very helpful.

As some have already said, go to your county FSA and/ or
NRCS offices and they can tell you about the differences in the CRP programs and you can get the details there so you can make a decision about what is best for you. Unlike some goverment offices these local offices, at least when I have used them, will help you as much as they can and usually do it willingly and with regard to you as a person.
