Was cleaning a bird tonight and it's crop was huge. I could tell it wasn't corn or beans, but seeds and a large green material. I opened it up it looked like spinach. I was tired so I'll examine better tomorrow. Anyone else ever see this and what is it?
 
This time of year alfalfa leaves are very small and palatable, I have found them in birds before.

Very nutritious also I would think.
